The European Union has finally passed a series of laws that clearly regulate the automated access sector. Any new or existing installation requires a declaration of conformity. CAME has created a complete range of automated operators that are EN Tested―and ready to be certified on site by the installers. The EN Tested principle is based on new electronics, new motors, new protection systems, new mechanics, new patents and devices for achieving total safety even when installing in challenging environments. Thanks to these standards many door manufacturing companies use CAME technology to ensure their products are up to code.

Monitoring Each Phase of Production

For over 30 years we have been fully committed to realizing a great advantage, which comprises all others, that of safety. But passion in not enough. That is why we demanded and activated rigorous product testing, careful process controls and constant monitoring of every phase our work. Each phase of the product production, from design to assembly, is closely monitored by a highly specialised team and completed with state-of-the art equipment. The entire production is exclusively carried out in our facilities, to enable the internal controllers to oversee the entire process.

Dangerous Situations Upon automating any door, gate, window or any other opening, it becomes a machine, and it must be treated as such. Listed below is a list of the possible hazards associated with using the automated product, which includes proper and improper use of the machine-gate:

• Crushing during closing hazards
• Shearing hazard

• Impact or blow hazards
• Person lifting hazard, in the event of vertical closings
• Operator connected, electrical hazards
